What we’re working on

Gender-Inclusive Language Campaign
Pronouns are important! Getting someone’s pronouns right can provide a sense of belonging. Our goal is to help weave in more inclusivity, through expansion of vocabulary, into our Provincetown fabric so that Provincetown feels safer for our trans, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and two-spirit fam.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Over the 20/21 winter, we hosted three Community Conversations on racism where we worked to create a space to bring important conversations out in the open. Since then a group of folx from Community Conversations participants have been collaborating with the Select Board on drafting language for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee and working hard to bring a petitioned article to town meeting calling for the creation of an Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within Provincetown’s town government to help close equity gaps to further create an Anti-Racist community!
Community Conversation: the experience of being a Woman in Provincetown
Our second Community Conversations is focusing on the experience of being a woman in Provincetown. It’s currently in progress and is focused on promoting gender equality and helping to stamp out misogyny.
